Half of what we've made in fifty years has been made alongside an interior designer. This page is a small thank-you to that community. And an invitation to the next one.
A designer at their best is doing something no algorithm can: reading a family, a house, and a landscape, and putting a room together that will still feel right in twenty years. It is a quiet craft, and we've spent five decades trying to be worthy of it.
The designers we build with are our real clients. We honor their vision, protect their client relationships, and never sell around them. And when a designer chooses to bring Vail Cowboy into a project, we say thank you the way we know best. With pieces that make the room, and with a program that rewards the role a designer plays in getting them there.
This is that program.
Every designer program we admire. The ones designers actually stay with for a decade. Is built on the same three things: respect for the designer-client relationship, a generous share of the work, and a real human on the other end of the phone. Ours is built on those three things too.
Every project you bring in earns a meaningful share of the work. One of the most generous in custom American furniture. We keep the exact terms out of the open air because we believe the discount conversation belongs in a private room with your name on it, not on a website. Ask us and we'll tell you the number in the first ten minutes of the call.
We will never sell direct against you, market to your client behind your back, or contact them without your knowledge. Every communication is routed through you. Every quote is delivered to you. Every follow-up asks about you first. This is not a policy. It is how a small family business earns a designer's second project.
When you sign up, you are handed one senior designer at Vail Cowboy who becomes yours. Direct cell number. Same-day responses. A calendar link that skips the queue. If you need a rush frame, an off-book fabric, a specific tuft pattern, or a quiet Sunday-afternoon conversation about a difficult client. You have a number, and it will be answered.
Named designers move to the front of the build calendar. When a rush is real, we say yes; when a lead time needs to shrink, it shrinks.
Full library of Belgian linens, Italian velvets, superfine wool, mohair, and full-grain leather. Sent out same-week, no charge, as many rounds as the project needs.
Resale certificate on file, and every invoice is issued clean. One less thing at the end of the quarter.
Bringing your own fabric or leather? Ship it to us and we'll build around it. Yardage estimates provided before you buy.
Every piece is built to your customer's measurements. Change the depth, the arm height, the leg finish, the piping, the tufting. Off-book requests are welcome.
New silhouettes go to our named designer partners a season before they hit the site. So does the fabric library.
If we build for a project you're publishing, the finished pieces belong in your book. Use the images. We'll credit you when we share ours.
Denver, Vail, Aspen, and Beaver Creek within driving range. Further afield, we'll get on a plane for the right project.
There is no minimum project value, no annual commitment, and no application fee. If you are a working interior designer. Whether you run a fifty-person studio in Denver or you just left one to open your own. You are welcome here. New designers get the same terms as designers we've worked with since the eighties.
A thirty-minute call is all it takes to start. You'll leave with the exact terms, a named partner, and a sense of what it feels like to work with us. If it's not a fit, we'll say so. And probably send you to someone who is.
