Up above the highway noise, Wildridge and Wildwood offer something Avon's core condo districts don't: real single-family lots with panoramic valley views, at a price still below Vail or Beaver Creek. Avon's architecture is honestly a little scattered, 1970s-80s condo stock next to newer branded-residence towers. Which is less a criticism than a description of a town that grew fast and practically.
Wildridge and Wildwood homes sit on steep, view-oriented lots, which usually means unusual room shapes and window placement that standard furniture dimensions don't account for. You don't get a rectangular great room on a hillside without some negotiation. Avon's condo stock from the 1970s and '80s runs the opposite problem: smaller footprints and lower ceilings than the newer branded towers going up nearby, which retail furniture sized for those newer buildings doesn't fit. Add the fact that a lot of Avon buyers are trading up from a starter place elsewhere in the valley and want furniture that reads as a genuine step up, not just bigger. That's a design conversation, not a catalog page.
